This steel offers better resistance to corrosion than the cold laminated steel, primed and painted. This material is commercially designed under the name of &#8220;galvanneal&#8221; or &#8220;satin coat&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2>FINISH<\/h2>\n<p>The surfaces where the iron-zinc alloy has been damaged or removed during the manufacturing process, are patched with a primer meeting the &#8220;CAN\/GCSB 1-GP-181&#8221; standard.<br \/>\nAll the surfaces have to be free of dust, oil or grease to optimize the paint bond. The paint finish\u00a0of appropriate type and quality has to be designed for an application on metal.<\/p>\n<h2>A: STANDARD STEEL<\/h2>\n<p>Cold laminated steel of commercial quality according to the &#8220;ASTM A653\/A653M&#8221; standard.<br \/>\nDesignation finish ZF75 (A25) 75 g\/m\u00b2 (-0.25 oz\/sq.ft.).<br \/>\nMinimum total covering.<\/p>\n<h2>B: OPTIONAL STEEL<\/h2>\n<p>Cold laminated steel of commercial quality according to the &#8220;ASTM A653\/A653M&#8221; standard.<br \/>\nDesignation finish Z275 (G90) 275 g\/m\u00b2 (-0.90 oz\/sq.ft).<br \/>\nMinimum total covering.<\/p>\n<h2>FIRE RESISTANCE CERTIFICATION (WHI)<\/h2>\n<p>Putting\u00a0emphasis on its customers\u2019 satisfaction, M\u00c9TALEC Doors &amp; Frames is continually developping new fire rated products to meet the constant growing demand of the market.<\/p>\n<p>Among its vast range of products, M\u00c9TALEC manufactures fire rated steel doors and frames according to your needs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u0002 M\u00c9TALEC steel doors and frames are approved by the Warnock Hersey (ITS) laboratory highly recognized in the industry;<\/li>\n<li>The steel doors and frames have been verified, inspected and approved in conformance with the &#8220;CAN\/ULC-S104-M80&#8221;, &#8220;NFPA80&#8221; (fire rated doors and windows) and &#8220;UL10b&#8221; Standards. A regular verification is made at the factory by a WHI laboratory inspector during the manufacturing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>M\u00c9TALEC Doors &amp; Frames has a full range of fire listed products with Warnock Hersey and are available with the following fire ratings:<\/p>\n<p>20 min.
